Hey Ken Salazar, what about Appalachia?
The U.S. has a large area specifically designated for members of the U.S. state department to give presentations on American energy/climate change policies. Yesterday EPA administrator Lisa Jackson presented, and later this week Steven Chu will also give a talk. Today the U.S. Secretary of Interior, Ken Salazar was the featured speaker. During the Q and A session he was asked a poignant question about the continued use of coal in Appalachia vs. green jobs.
